Have you ever looked at something and thought there’s something missing?Well, I felt that way for a very long time.
I spent 16 years working for various print and design companies. I produced thousands of projects in that time for companies like BA airlines, Lloyds of London, charities, schools and small local one-man bands, but it didn’t seem to matter who it was for, everything looked the same to me.
Business cards were all printed on the same card. Letterheads all printed on the same paper.
It became so frustrating because I worked closely with lots of clients during that time on projects I knew could have been much better. I was not allowed to show them certain things because we didn’t use so and so, or it would have made the job more difficult for us.
I spent years learning the craft of design and print from people who were masters of their trade. I felt I was doing them a disservice.
I wanted a finished project everyone would absolutely love. I became very disillusioned.
Fast forward 15 years to today.
The whole idea of Ink on Paper is that you will see the difference. Working together we can make something that is not a boring me-too vanilla kind of thing. Together we can create and produce a project with added “Wow factor”.
So fire up your imagination and let’s get started.
